Walt Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios have released the first trailer for the highly anticipated Iron Man 3. Check out the trailer below!

Earlier today Robert Downey Jr. was injured while filming a stunt on the set for Iron Man 3. MARVEL Studios released a statement addressing RDJ's injury:

"Robert Downey Jr. sustained an ankle injury on the set of Iron Man 3 in Wilmington, North Carolina while performing a stunt. There will be a short delay in the production schedule while he recuperates."

Here's hoping that the "short delay" won't hold up next summer's scheduled release date. So, we all wish Robert Downey Jr. a speedy and healthy recovery.

This is the first official set photo from Iron Man 3 and I must say, it looks pretty cool! You may have seen pictures of the Iron Patriot Armor several days ago, but this is straight from the mouse. It's official!

We have pictures of the Iron Patriot Armor from the set of Iron Man 3. This has caused some confusion among geeks since the Iron Patriot is supposed to be Norman Osborn (Green Goblin). That character is owned by Sony, so it's unlikely that Norman will be in the armor. The actor wearing the suit is said to be James Badge Dale.

Insiders have reported that Ben Kingsley is in final negotiations to star as the villain in Iron Man 3. As of now, Marvel has refused to comment on the deal. What we do have is news regarding his character.

We are one year away from the release of Iron Man 3. It's been confirmed that Downey (obviously), Paltrow, and Cheadle will be making a return. The one and only Scarlett Johansson is coming back for the third installment as well.
